Dance Instructors

Camille Deal – Director
Camille has over 23 years of dance experience. Throughout the years she has studied styles such as Ballet, Point, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-hop, African, Tap, Musical Theater and Lyrical. While attending California State University Chico, Camille received her B.A. in Dance Kinesiology. Over the years, Camille danced for several dances and, performance companies, directed and choreographed for Chico Dance Theater, and danced professionally for the NBA Sacramento Kings.
Camille has been instructing dance classes of all ages and levels. She has extensive experience coaching at the competitive level and has received numerous awards for her choreography at competitions. In 2014, Camille relocated to Reno, Nevada and continued to follow her heart in the dance world. Camille co-coached the NBA D-Leauge Reno Bighorn Dance Team for 2 seasons; and developed Caughlin Club Dance Company into a fun, energetic group of talented young dancers. She is proud to bring dance to the community and continues to share her passion for dance and performance by inspiring others about the wonderful world of dance.


Jennifer Burke – Dance Instructor
Jennifer has been involved with dance and the fitness world for over 30 years. She began dancing with a studio at age 3 and her time there was spent taking lessons and competing in Jazz, Ballet, and Tap. Later, she choreographed multiple school musicals and became a Group Fitness Instructor. Over the last year, she has been working closely with the Caughlin Club Dance Company and looks forward to being a Tap Instructor. Jennifer has loved all genres of dance but Tap is her favorite and she is always excited to share her knowledge and experience with others.


Kelsey Cornwell – Dance Instructor
Kelsey began dancing at the age of 4, starting with ballet, jazz, and tap. At the age of 9, she auditioned for the competition team at her dance studio and continued competing until she graduated from high school. While attending college at the University of Nevada, Kelsey took modern dance classes and was involved in the student dance shows put on by the dance and theater department. After graduation, she became a part of the Reno Bighorns Dance Team and is getting ready to begin her second season on the team. Most recently she was chosen as a finalist for the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush. Kelsey loves to perform, whether on the court or on stage and is excited to share her passion with the CCDC family!


Sarah Salem – Dance Instructor
Sarah is a 21-year-old UNR student, originally from Susanville, CA. She studied Cecchetti Ballet for 17 years and last summer passed her Grade VII Professional Advanced II Exam, which completes all her exams for this method of ballet. She has studied at numerous ballet intensives, workshops, and Master Classes all throughout California. Sarah has also performed with AVA Ballet Theatre, Reno Dance Company and Nevada Dance Academy. Over the past 5 years, she has taught ballet, tap, lyrical and jazz to children ranging from ages 3 to 17. Through the teaching of dance, Sarah fully sees the love of such a beautiful art. Dance is a great part of her life and she cannot express her admiration to be part of Caughlin Club Dance Company.


Antonia Polan – Dance Instructor
Antonia has been dancing for 25 years and brings her love of dance and passion for performing to every class she teaches! After studying dance in college, Antonia went on to dance professionally in the NFL for 4 amazing years. Antonia has been coaching the NBA D-League Reno Bighorns Dance team for the past 3 years and going on her second year teaching hip hop for Caughlin Club Dance Company. Antonia has been formally trained in hip-hop, jazz, ballet and modern dance.


Heather Waldbart – Dance Instructor
Heather began taking dance classes at the age of 2. Focused mostly in ballet, she studied with the Atlanta And Mississippi Ballet and performed the “Nutcracker” and “Dracula” with the South Carolina Ballet. In 2008, Heather was offered a world cruise contract dancing on Silversea luxury cruise lines. Heather began touring nationally with Spirit Productions from 2011 to 2014 and became a featured dancer in a variety of their production shows performing in casinos all over the states including Niagara Falls, Chicago, and Reno. Heather was then called to join the cast “Jubilee” at Bally’s Las Vegas in August 2014, “The Tournament of the Kings” show at the Excalibur casino, “Vegas the Show” as a full-time dancer with David Saxe Productions at Planet Hollywood, where she finished her career as a dancer. Heather moved to Reno, Nevada and became a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty. She is excited to share her love for dance and to be a part of the Caughlin Dance Company!
